Weekly Classes Overview
2 hours a week for 6 weeks in wheel throwing or hand building.
All levels of experience, ages 14 and up.
$390 pp includes facilitation and materials, plus $20 if tool kit required, firing $18/kg.
BYO towel and apron or hire for $5 per item (save money, bring your own!)
Please note. Entry to studio no earlier than 10 monutes before class start time or 10 minutes after the commencement of class.

Wheel Classes Tues 10.30 am – 12 .00 pm; Thurs 6.30 – 8.30 pm; Sunday 10 am – 12 pm.
Hand building Thurs 1pm – 3 pm.

INTRODUCTION TO GLAZING

This is a workshop to introduce new and prospective members of Made in Clay who require a crash course in glazing and general studio orientation so they can work without supervision or support as a member.
People who have done pottery classes elsewhere are welcome to participate,

We’ll show you how to make basic form or variations leaving you to add your own creative flair in the surface decoration. Choose from 3 different colours which we’ll apply before firing. Make up to 3 pieces, but remember its quality not quantity that counts.

TASTE OF WHEEL

Always want to try your hand on a pottery wheel?
Offer does not include Patrick Swayze but is perfect for those curious about making pots using a pottery wheel and especially perfect if you are thinking about enrolling in a 6 week term 2 wheel throwing class which starts on Sunday 18 May 2025.
Students who have done the Taste of Wheel prior to the 6 week course really hit the ground running.
Not suitable for folk under 16 or NDIS clients.
Price includes clay, tools, aprons and towel. Keep your best two pieces which we will glaze in a high gloss colour of your choice.
